In 21st century everything seems to be connected with money. They say that money moves the world.
Some years ago I traveled abroad hoping that I will make more money that way and experience happiness. But then I realized that I was so emotionally connected to my family; to my Tashkent with its endless bumpy roads and so on.
I realized that there are a lot of other more precious things in life ( I will tell you more about them in my comments). So to what extend is money important to you these days?
Very interesting question, I agree with writer Arne Garborg. However, these days living without money is impossible. Most things depend on money. For instance, to study, to live, to survive. One of my dreams is to study in UK. Whereas it is too expensive. That's why I think money is something we really need. On the other hand, as Akmal aka said family, friends, hometown are priceless.

We can't without it, everything depends on money, we work, study, survive for earning money. Money solve all of our problems.. in politics, institutes, goverments and so on... Who has a lot of money, he has a good life, but nowadays many people say that you can't buy love)) but I think opposite.. If you has a lot of money, you needn't for love.

In today's times, you can't really do anything without having money. Because of this people are sacrificing valuable time to make more money.
Money is not everything, but money is something very important. Beyond the basic needs, money helps us achieve our life's goals and supports — the things we care about most deeply — family, education, health care, charity, adventure and fun. With money, much good can be done and much unnecessary suffering avoided or eliminated.
Money can give us the time to develop our gifts and talents, but not the courage and discipline to do so.
How much money it costs is not the issue, but how much the money costs us is important. Money should not cost us our soul, relationships, dignity, health, intelligence and joy in simple things of life. People who figure out what they truly value and then align their money with those values have the strongest sense of financial and personal well-being!
I think that money is necessary for us, because in modern life all depends from money! Of course if you haven't got some talents or knowleges, money will not help you, but... somethimes people look only at financiel side of a man/woman.I know a lot of cases, when a man/womam has amazing abilities but they hasn't got money! And they doesn't know how to use their talents without money and go to other work, where they can make money! I think,certainly it's not correctly! Each men has his/her own world and soul which not depend from financial positions in society. By my opinion money is not sense in life but it's very good assistant which help man/woman reach their desires!

In my view money plays large role in our life. We begin study almost since the childhood, to provide wonderful future, and it depends on material condition of person, because if you have money, you live without problems and you have all necessary thing for a beautiful life.

Not everything depends on money think about it look around, you can see people who have little money and they are happy really happy.
Imagine very rich family, parents divorced, one of children drug addict another one invalid and you think that this family is happy. I don't think so. Well don't think only about MONEY, it is just paper with pictures which was made by people.

Guys let me tell you what happened to me about 3 years ago. I was young and quite very naive at that time. Like any other person who lives in former Soviet Union I used to think that people abroad, especailly in places like USA, Canada, Europe or let alone Japan and Australia, work very little hours and get thousands of dollars for the work they do. At that time I used to feel so discouraged and less motivated that I did not want to work and live in Tashkent. So I decided to go abroad to experience some kind of happiness and find a good job.
ReplyDeleteAt the beginning I worked in the hotel and later joined language school.
Surprise,surprise I found myself working 14-16 hours in the hotel and later more or less same working hours in the language school. Did I make the money I wanted to??? Well more of less yes!!! For that period it was a good money and I was sending quite a good amount of money to my family back home.
But my perception about so-called luxurious life in abroad has changed. I saw how hard and long hours people work there and get paid good amount of money, which is very huge in our eyes. Money they were making perhaps was good to spend in their own home-country but in that country it did not make any big difference and a big sense. And same thing was about me too.
Although I was happy, I was feeling that I was missing out quite a lot things in my life. For example, being together with my family!!!! I was feeling myself like a machine which is supposed to earn money all the time.
After that I decided to come back home. Now while working in Tashkent, I don't focus solely on money but I try to look around myself and feel happy that I have the meaning of my life, good and supportive colleagues, lovely and hard-working students and wonderful friends. But at the same time, I try to keep myself financially healthy by taking several jobs. Since my return to Tashkent, I have been offered 3 or 4 jobs abroad. Oooops!!! Excuse my guys I will think very carefully this time before going abroad to work. What about money??? What is point of going abroad to make a little more money than your own town and live all alone without any LOVE???!!!!

www.smallworld-akmal.blog.spot.com was even difficult for myself to recall when I wanted to enter my blog. In several occasions I could not remember the name/URL of my blog and I was very frustrated. I found www.intashkent.blogspot.com easy to remember and easy to recall and type.
Doston I did not understand what you meant by redirection :-((( If you meant My Favorite Site section where I put 4 web-sites, I did it because I wanted the visitor and members of my blog to easily browse WIUT web-site, use McMillan On-line dictionary, and improve their grammar skills and so on every time you visit my blog.

It says that 'English for non-native speakers is a business tool and it has to show dividends immediately.' I think it`s about us and it`s one of the reasons why we teach English...

Also problems happen in our family because we always compare ourselves to others who seem to be, yes seem to be happier and more successful just because they are a little bit or even more richer than you. But have you ever stopped and thought for yourself that these people may not have smth that YOU have in your life? Let's say peace and harmony in their family. So???? :-)

ReplyDeleteAlso when you are in the Home page of the blog there is an interesting article to read uploaded just under our Discussion Topic. It has a picture of an old and poor man. Text seems so big but it was just in A4 format paper when it was original. So it is not so long.
However, text is quite in advanced level. So take some patience with you while reading. It will help you to pick up new words and enrich your vocabulary.

So money doesn't solve problems in family (or in other cases) for example, parents want to divorce and it is painful for children, isn't it. well tell how can you solve this problem with money?

ReplyDeleteYou said to Vika about Tashkent people, I don't know in which part of Tashkent do u live but if you paid attention Tashkent people more friendly than Moscow, London, Dubai... people. Simple example, you can see how people friendly in streets if you were in bus or in other public transport you could see youngsters give place to older people or boys to girls. Sometimes I see retired people who care toddlers or babies near them, they give candies or just make them laugh. BUT in other cities you will never see such kind of kindness.

I think many things depends on money! Yes happieness is most important in our life but money is part of happiness!For example you have good wife and cleaver, healthy kind children.But you can't buy clothers, healthy food and pay for their education. I think this time you won't think about love!

Hi guys))I'm not sure that money is all what we have in our LIFE..IN Madina's example we see that we can trust money.IN that situations money is a good way out.But many others important things we can not buy or solve by this green papers.You know,I think that many people rely only for money And most of them are guilty that they solve their all problems by it.The people have got used to give money everywhere/even there,where it's not necessary. Only because the decision of problems for the people without money became very long process.In general I want to say that to base only on money is not necessary!!

i think that money is only paper for survivng.but matirial level of our life depends from the quantity of our money.that means if you have much money you will have all conditions for the easy life.and if you have not much money you will try to earn much money to improve your life.fortunatly in this world you can see the people who try to achieve not only much money.this kind of people try to get good education,to have a good recpect among the friends,relatives etc.from nodira.

But,of course, we shouldn't forget that every rule has an exclusion! )
Oh yeah Aziz, it is a human nature to have more and more, better and better, bigger and bigger, right???? So in case of money more money you have more greedy you may become and greediness may lead to becoming a BAD man. But pay attention that I used the verb 'may' and not 'will'.
