Big Town vs. Small Town
Living in a town(big or small)is preferable because life in a town means a lot of benefits. When it comes to choosing between a big or a small town, I would definitely choose to live in a big one. Why? The next three arguments will explain my choice.
First of all, it is education wise. Many of us want to have a decent life and igh quality of education. In a big town you have more opportunities: good high schools, colleges and universities.
Many people who live in small towns are forced to leave their native places to go to a big town because they want to continue their studies. Studying in a big town offers you highly qualified teachers, well equipped labs, good libraries, educated society and a lot of interesting cultural events. If you have the opportunity to live in a big town, you will not be able to save only money, but also relationship with your family that you lose when you go to study. You will miss most of the precious moments of your life.
The second major argument refers to the economic and industrial development. Having a strong economy and various fields of activities is always an advantage as it offers more jobs and working places than in a small town. Moreover, this means that there are more active people, motivation, competition, progress, beauty and money.
Last but not least, I would mention the medical services. While living in a big town you will always have an access to medical emergency services, qualified doctors and nurses, as well as decent hospitals. In my opinion, this things should be available all over the country, in every town whether it is small or big because health is on top of our priorities. And thus by just living in a big town you can really benefit from this things.
In conclusion, if one day in the future we meet again and you ask me my address, expect me to tell you that I live in a big town, which is well known for its good schools, health services and many job opportunities.

yes in some ways it's better to live in a city! But sometimes you fed up with noise of cars, croud of pepople and closeness!
ReplyDeleteYeah , I agree. I also prefer living in big town to living in small town.Fristly the education in big cities is better and there are many tutors.People who live in cities don`t have any dificulty in finding tutors.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, during your life in cities you comunicate with other people and your viewpoint improves.
Ahmad you wanna say that in towns live only stupid people?))))
ReplyDeleteNO 0_o I think you didn`t understand me) I wrote that people who live in cities have more oportunities to study. It doesn`t mean that they are stupid. For example I also go to tutor. But I don`t consider myself stupid. On, quite the contrary there are many intelegent people in big towns. That`s why in cities we have good, clever teachers.
ReplyDeleteYeah for example teachers who teach at schools are very very "CLEVER", equipments are "LAST MODELS". Studying definitely "FREE". There is no person who is "UNEMPLOYED". By the way doctors what a "PROFESSIONAL" doctors we have. You go to 100 doctors and they give you various 100 treatments.
ReplyDeleteI think you get what I mean.
Oh Doston))I didn`t write only about Uzbekistan. I wrote about all cities in the world.Yeah maybe there are some disadvantages of living in big towns. But after all cities are better than villages and small towns. You can`t deny it.Cuz it is true in our present life.
ReplyDeleteAhmad is Tashkent a big or small city? I hope it is a big!!! You know what I mean??? :---))))
ReplyDeleteI personally like living in a small city where things are smaller and more humane. People in small cities are friendlier and kinder because life is not so fast and competitive. So people live cooperatively.
ReplyDeleteBig cities mean big problems, big chaos, big drama. Big cities mean higher level of crime and very low level of safety. If the city is too big like Moscow or New York, it is more difficult to manage the city infrastructure and its other services (like bank). For example if you have a problem with a local government or bank, it will take too much time for local government or bank to sort out your problems and offer you a very high level of service. So you will have to wait for a long time.
However, it also depends how well the big cities are organized.
Yeah I agree with Akmal aka =))))))) But it would be excellent if there would be a good university and good company in little town :-))))))) where we will live =))))))))
ReplyDeleteHa)You know nowadays almost all small towns, villages are changing and they are losing their previous conditions. In some small towns people have started cut trees and they build a lot of buildings.I think it`s becoming look like a city.To me I am used to living in big city and now I can`t imagine how will I live in village)
ReplyDeletebut sometimes big cities are annoying and your soul, mind need a wideness and freedom!
ReplyDeleteliving in small towns has both pros and cons. one advantage is that you can grow your own vegetables, fruits so you don't need to got to market and enjoying your natural harvest. another point of that the air of small town's is clean because of less numbers of cars and transportation and people can avoid many illnesses which causes car pollution, factories and etc. however, living in small towns has also disadvantages. as you guys said it is difficult to find perspective job or to get an education. furthermore,it is particularly difficult to find a good places to entertain people. for instance, you can not visit museum's,cinema's, parks and etc. this is only cons and pros of small towns. in my opinion, people should live where it is convenient for them and enjoy and appreciate their live.:)) convenientthemthem
ReplyDeleteWhat do you think about Tashkent? Is it a big or small city? Do you like Tashkent? :--))))
ReplyDeleteYeah I like Tashkent.Cuz it is the most modern city in our country^_^ To me Tashkent is big city. There are a lot of buildings,a lot of people and too much cars which pollute our air.
ReplyDeleteBut after all I love Tashkent,I love my country))
oh my God guys there are several mistakes in this article which I did not notice. I will proofread it and make it more easier to read and understand. I am really having a very short time to read when I posting new articles on our blog. PLease excuse me for that everybody. I thought this article had been written by a professional writer.:--))))
ReplyDeleteYeah bog cities, sounds cool. You know in UK slang it means the place where we go everyday several times. Anyway it's okay.
ReplyDeleteDo you remember Mr.Akmal once you told us (during the lesson) that one of your friends moved to little town, and we discussed about that. So was it real or you just made up.
I full agree with you Parvina!
ReplyDeleteTashkent is not so big,but it becomes more and more bigger! I think future of Tashkent is Moscow now! In some years we will have stoppers everywhre and a lot of people!
It is bad that Tashkent is a capital and it is becoming a business center of our country. It means that in future population who want to live, work, study and concentrate their business here will increase. Why it is bad? It is bad because Tashkent is not well organized and it is not so efficient. For example, if you take a look at our roads there are so many cars and number of cars is increasing almost every week. To make this situation look even worse most of the drivers do not respect any rules or any pedestrians as well as each other. It means that there will be more and more car accidents and a lot of traffic jams everywhere. It will be very difficult for any of us to move around the city. Most of us will be using our metro which is already full and old. If they close the Metro for one month to renovate, it will cause a very stupid and uncontrollable public chaos around the city. I hope we will manage to survive these kind of days.
ReplyDeleteWell, there was Asian development bank in Tashkent. They are going to give money for our development. Also you have watched news on TV, haven't you? They informed us about future plans. In addition, I think you know about misunderstanding in our country such as closing some big Companies. As far as I'm concerned, Tashkent won't become business centre and it will be under government.
ReplyDeleteSorry Mr.Akmal I broke a rule about Policy. :))))))))
ou ou ou Doston. Please don't break the rules. It is a social blog. But I understand that we can't avoid talking about this or it is difficult.:--))))
ReplyDeleteAnd what is the conclusion Akmalaka? that Tashkent will be like Moscow! And you know Akmalaka that nor only drivers transgress rules. For instanse many pedestrians cross the road not in determind places and it's took to various accidents.
ReplyDeleteOkay Mr.Akmal I won't break rules again (I think)
